It’s finally time.
No dramatic music cue, no perfect launch party — just me, finally getting out of my own head and into the world with this.
I’ve dreamt of this moment for five years. And when I say dreamt, I mean obsessed.
Got close to releasing, then spiraled. Talked myself out of it. Overthought everything. Typical me.
But something shifted. Maybe it’s time catching up to me. Maybe I just got tired of being scared.
Because this vision? It’s too good to keep to myself.
And honestly… it feels like I’m showing parts of me I haven’t even told my closest friends.
All the secrets. All the soft spots. All the late-night notes in my phone.
But enough about me — this is about VORTEXIA.
Where’d the name come from?
The first time I heard “vortex” was on All American (don’t ask me which episode — if you know, you know).
The second time, someone described Pharrell as a vortex. That stuck.
An endless creative force. A whirlpool that pulls in anything nearby and makes it part of its spin.
That’s what I wanted VORTEXIA to be — not just a brand, but a pull. A beautiful chaos.
Why I started this…
I broke down in a Dallas hotel room in 2021. No scandal, no big fight — just me, sitting with the weight of a life I didn’t want.
I was tired of performing. Tired of living for other people’s expectations. So I packed up and moved to Chicago.
New city, no noise. Just me trying to figure it out.
That’s when My Dear Alana Rose started. It was just a musical at first, but it turned into something bigger — a film, a diary, a confession, a blueprint.
It made me realize: I don’t just want to make art. I want to design unforgettable experiences that tell bold stories. I want to create entire worlds.
So I’m starting a tradition.
The Creative Director’s Diary. Every director at VORTEXIA — now and in the future — will document the raw parts of building this house.
- Late-night ideas
- Meetings
- Chaos
- Magic
- Sketches
- BTS videos
- Conversations
- Even our mess-ups
And eventually, it’ll become a once-a-year magazine called: Everything Is Created Twice.
2,000 copies. That’s it. A collector’s diary of the inner world of VORTEXIA.
My Mission
To design immersive worlds where fashion, film, and narrative merge into unforgettable experiences.
We’re not just making garments — we’re telling stories.
We’re turning anonymity into power. We’re making silence cinematic. We’re creating visual myths that outlast seasons and trends.
We exist to disrupt. To allure. To outlive.
Because beauty isn’t enough. It should haunt you.
What We Believe
- Innovation should be quiet — but impossible to ignore.
- Beauty should feel eternal.
- Style should speak without needing to explain itself.
- And storytelling? It should linger. You should feel it days later.
Now the fun part.
We're starting with an eyewear and jersey collection — my love letter to football (shoutout to my fellow Manchester United fans… pain recognizes pain).
But this is bigger than sunglasses and sportswear. HOV (House of Vortexia) is about full-world design: fashion, cinema, vlogs, silent films, immersive art — everything under one roof.
2025 Season Preview
This year, I’m building the world. Literally.
Expect lifestyle content that feels like a memory from a dream — helicopter rides, thrift hunts, sushi nights, horseback moments — all the things I do or want to do.
It’s not flexing. It’s storytelling. It’s visual poetry.
Season Theme: The Three Faces of the Self
Inspired by a Japanese saying:
- The face you show the world
- The face you show close ones
- The face you show no one
This season is about the face we hide. The version of ourselves we’re scared to share — even with ourselves. We’re peeling back layers. Gently. Boldly.
Some of the projects in motion:
- Detective Diaries — noir-inspired monologues unraveling a cinematic mystery
- My Dear Alana Rose — a stream-of-consciousness musical that feels like cracking open someone’s head
- Friends of VORTEXIA — a social experiment vlog full of strangers, strange questions, and deeper connections
- Clarity — 1-minute diary films of people being completely raw
- Everything Is Created Twice — the magazine/diary you’re reading now
- Incognito Lookbook — a lookbook that lets you imagine who’s behind the mask
- I Will Do Anything in the Dark — silent films that say everything without saying a word
